Melanie Husemoller Obituary

Melanie Michelle Husemoller

Melanie Michelle Husemoller passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2021. She was born to William and Karla Davis Husemoller on June 5, 1980 here in Great Falls, MT where she grew up with her older sister Wava Husemoller and many close cousins. In 1998 she graduated from Charles M. Russell high school, shortly after, she traveled and lived briefly in Colorado and Arizona. She returned to her hometown where she gave birth to her oldest daughter, Joscelynn Husemoller in July of 2000. A couple years later Melanie moved to Missoula to pursue a degree in Nursing. This is where she met her husband Garrit Frasure. The two of them added three more children to the family; Maizey, Presley, and Grayson Frasure. Melanie adored her children with her whole heart, being a mother was the light of her life and all that knew her will remember her for that. In recent years Melanie worked at her family's restaurant, The Family Affair. Melanie left behind a loving family and many friends who will never forget her ability to brighten up any room and make people laugh. We will miss her everyday and keep her memories alive forever.

Melanie is survived by her husband, children, parents, sister, two nephews; Leif and Owen Olson, her grandmother Shirley Davis, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Melanie is preceded by her grandparents, Lark Davis and Lola Stubbs, her special Papa Owen Dornblazer, and her favorite aunt Donna Stubbs.

There will be a memorial service Sunday May 30th at 3 p.m at 23 Dick Rd. Great Falls MO.

I am so sad to read this, I worked with Melanie a short while with Dr. C. Burk and she was so wonderful to work with and the nicest person that I have had the privilege to know and work with, she loved her children dearly and it showed and she was a wonderful nurse.. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with your family..

Melanie was my best friend in elementary school, and stayed friends throughout high school. We shared playing the violin and countless sleepovers. You are very dear to my heart and I was so saddened to hear you had passed. I'm sorry to her family and especially her children. She was an amazing person and I know that she will live through you. My condolences to her husband, children, parents, and sister and all her cousins (two of which I also knew growing up). There are just no words, hugs from afar.

Husemoller and Frasure families I am so sorry for the loss of Melanie. Melanie and I shared many life experiences throughout high school. I have so many fun memories with her and your family. I always admired the closeness of your family and extended family, all the cousins, Aunts, and uncles. I am so happy Melanie was blessed with a big family of her own. Her children are in my prayers as they navigate this tragedy. I’ve always loved this quote and hope it leaves you with some comfort. “ Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves a memory that no one can steal”.

I remember meeting Melanie in high school we had our differences really went friends....however years later there was a time in my life that I was having a lot of problems with my husband and I could not remember the last time, I had laughed I mean truely laughed, where I couldn't stop my stomach hurt. I ended up running into her and her husband and thoses two together a super funny I just listened to their stories and I finally I did not hurt so much, I laughed the whole day . So I asked her and her husband If we could be friends like a cheesy 1st grader. I called her Melvin and she called me Sairdiepoo. Don't get me wrong we had our ups and downs however we came back to eachother. She was the only one that really made me laugh. I feel she was really patient, honest, calm, level headed, loving, and accepting towards me.
She allowed me to be apart of her family. She was really good to me I so many ways. I miss her so much in a lot of ways she was the hub that kept the peace and everyone together. I want the family to know how sorry I am for their loss and I will pray for Melvin, and urs Durning this hard time.
