Grenier, Joel
Joel D. Grenier, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2012. Joel will be remembered for his loving heart and kind sprit. Born on January 22, 1932 in Negaunee MI, he was the son of the late Joel and Violet Grenier. He made the lives of people around him better and filled with happiness. His Native American heritage taught him how to make beautiful dream catchers that still are in many people lives…he will forever be able to dream on and be at peace. In 1951 Joel enlisted with the United States Army where he served in the Korean War. Joel married Joan Shestak on June 1, 1957 at Melnik Presbyterian Church and made their home in Manitowoc, WI where he worked and retired from Burger Boat building Yachts. On Sept 27, 1988 his beloved wife preceded him in death after 31 years of marriage. Survived by his children Rachelle (Craig) Paulsen, Suamico and Scott (Misha) Grenier , Manitowoc; 6 Grandchildren he loved dearly and actively enjoyed being a part of their lives : Joshua, Zachary, Hailey, Dylan, Brandon and Tristan, and special friends Gary Goad and Eugene Winkler. He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony per his request. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.

Rachelle and Scott, Very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear sweet dad...I remember how very sad it was when your mother passed away...your father was such a huge support system...know that my family and everyone will have you in their prayers...and now he can be with the love in his life...forever
