Several years ago, Kathy gave my husband and I some trees from her yard to plant in our bare backyard. They are so tall now and towering into the sky. Reminds me of her each time I look out my back window and see them in the sunlight.

My deepest sympathy for your dear family, children, parents and friends. I remember Kathy as a student and her desire to be excellent in everything she did. I also remember her when I was a patient at Bellin and how thoughtful and caring she was to me when I was very sick.
May your memory live on in all the lives you have touched.
Sincerely,

I will always remember Kathy as a happy and genuine person. I will miss her annual Christmas letter. I always looked forward to reading it every year. Her writings really made you stop and appreciate the simple pleasures in life.
May her love be shining down on Leland and Angela and all those who love and miss her.

When my husband & I moved to New Franken, Kathy was the first person to make us feel welcome. She was so kind and generous to us both. We will truly miss our wonderful neighbor.

I have many wonderful memories of Kathy! We sat next to each other in band at UWGB. Many years later we ran into each other while bird watching at the wildlife sanctuary. I looked forward to seeing her and taking a walk down memory lane with our time together at college. The ironic thing is I grew up in New Franken and then she ended up in my neck of the woods. My deepest sorrow for your loss...your family is in my prayers.
