Benjamin N. Schumacher, 90, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. He was born December 14, 1923, in Green Bay.

Ben served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. On May 17, 1947, he married Anne De Bock at Annunciation Catholic Church in Green Bay. Ben owned and operated a farm in the Pulaski Area for many years. He retired from Paper Converting after being employed as a draftsman for many years.

Ben is survived by his children, Mary and Bruce Hausauer, Owosso, MI; Glenn and Sharon Schumacher, Peshtigo; Karen and David Anderson, Lodi, WI; and Becky Hecker, Sterling Heights, MI; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rita Schumacher.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne; daughter, Eileen; granddaughter, April Louise Schumacher; one sister and three brothers.

Friends may call at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Ryan Starks officiating. A memorial fund has been established in Ben's name for Unity Hospice.
