Kenneth Edwin Wardecke

Kenneth Edwin Wardecke, 82, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Woodland Village Nursing Home, Suring. He was born to Fred and Laura (Grosse) Wardecke November 14, 1931 in the Town of Brazeau. Ken is survived by his wife Jean (Virginia) Wardecke, Crivitz; 4 daughters, Susan Stodola, Pound; Betty Jo (Wayne) Magee, Coleman; Cheryl (Wayne) Smet, Coleman; Jan (David) Carpenter, Wildwood, GA; 2 sons, Ken (Cindy) Wardecke, Satsuma, FL; Jeffery (Susie) Wardecke, Crivitz; Diane's good friend John Holcomb, Porterfield; step-son David Hoppe, Pulaski; 3 brothers, Robert (Anne)Wardecke, Pound; Duane (Melodie)Wardecke, Suring; Ronald (Dawn)Wardecke, Oneida, Kentucky; 23 grandchildren, 10 step- grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 27 step- great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Irene Wardecke and Corrine Dereszynski, brother-in-law Richard Dereszynski, daughter, Diane Lois Dyer, 2 grandchildren, Nathan Maloney and Jonathan Bonanfant, son-in-law James Stodola and his children's mother Ruth.

Friends and relatives may call at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman Wednesday, Nov. 20th from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Binford officiating. Ken will be placed to rest at First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. Please visit and for a tribute to Ken's life.
