Noth, Eugene Lee

Eugene Lee Noth passed away at the age of 73 at his home in Manhattan Beach California on March 11, 2016. He was born to Eugene L. and Joyce M. (Bunnow) Noth on January 8, 1943. He graduated from Libertyville-Freemont High School in Libertyville, IL and graduated in 1961. Gene attended Carroll University (formerly Carroll College) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and computer technology. He had a distinguished career as a software engineer in the aerospace industry working in Los Angeles for over 30 years. Eugene worked in the missile and space division of TRW Systems (now Northrop-Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp.) For a period of time Gene was stationed in Australia and provided aid and support to the NASA team during the moon landing in July 1969.

Gene retired to a very private life in California. He is survived by his brother Dale Noth of Iron River, Michigan and many cousins in various locations. Gene will be laid to rest next to his parents Eugene and Joyce Noth at Lawrence "Cady" Cemetery in West De Pere (Town of Lawrence) on Sand Acres Dr. at 10:00am on July 11, 2016. RYAN FUNERAL HOME, De Pere is assisting the family.
