Alexander (Alex) Kurowski Obituary
Alexander (Alex) Kurowski

Suamico - Alexander Louis (Alex) Kurowski, 68, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018. He was born July 22, 1950 to the late Edward Louis and Ann (Steinfeldt) Kurowski in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Alex went to Ashwaubenon High School. He was an avid wrestler and had his "own style" that made the crowd go wild. Alex enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and served his country from 1969-1971. He was proud to be a member of the Oneida VFW, as was his mother. Alex married Charmiane (Muelemans) in 1979. They formed and started AC Construction in 1979, specializing in concrete work. This led to Kurowski Construction and Logging with his son Ed. He was an exceptional father and husband, who cared so little about himself and gave it all he had for his family. From a young boy working jobs to help his mother and father with a large family, to building and making a home for his wife and son, he loved his family unconditionally and never wavered. If there were a "Hall of Fame" for fathers, he would have been their monument. We love you "Pop"- You will never be forgotten and you will be in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife Charmiane, and one son Ed, brothers Pastor Pete (Jan), Stanley (Vicky), Eddie (Linda), Andy (Lori), Paul (Sandy), George (Cindy), and sisters Vicky Deer (Joe), Theresa Smith (Bob), brother-in-law Bruce Muelemans (Sharon), Sean and Lynn, very special Uncle Wayne, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Monday August 13, from 3:00 - 6:00 pm, followed by a service led by his brother Pastor Pete. Military Honors to follow. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be made in Alex's name at the Brown County Reforestation Camp, as Alex had a great love for animals, especially his dogs Lefty, Rocky, Cinder, and Sam.

Alex went to the Lord doing what he loved to do, working with concrete alongside his beloved son (little pumpkin). God Bless!
