Green Bay - David R. Strehlow, 63, died Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was born on December 10, 1954, in Green Bay to Richard and Shirley (Tessen) Strehlow.

David was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, Class of 1974. On May 31, 1975, he married Sharon Westphal at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bonduel, WI. David worked at Broadway Automotive for over 30 years. He was a member of Brown County Sportsmen's Club, where he and his wife ran the skeet league on Thursday nights. David was a referee for skeet shooting at the Wisconsin state level.

He had a strong faith and enjoyed attending services at Redeemer Lutheran Church. David spent time hunting in Clintonville and fishing up north. He had a standing Thursday morning breakfast at Golden Basket with Randy and friends.

David is survived by his wife, Sharon Strehlow; daughter, Rachel (Tyler Smith) Strehlow; his mother, Shirley Strehlow, Green Bay; sister, Pamela (Roderick) Minor, Sobieski; sisters-in-law: Rebecca Westphal and Maxine (Robert) Schmidt, all of Green Bay; brothers-in-law: Andrew (Annette) Westphal, Shawano and Paul (fiancée, Tonia Speener) Westphal, Wausau; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Strehlow; grandmother, Martha Strehlow; grandfather, Paul Tessen; Sharon's parents, Alfon and Dolores Westphal; brother-in-law, David Westphal; and sister-in-law, Jane Erdmann.

Friends may call at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S. Oneida St., from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, followed by a Memorial Service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Paul Pett officiating. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
