Duane I. Livermore Obituary
Duane I. Livermore

Green Bay - Duane Livermore, 87, passed away peacefully with family at his side August 7, 2018. He was born December 3, 1930, in Brookside, WI, and was raised in Pensaukee by Grammie Sarah & Grampa Herb. Duane loved his cottage on the water. One of his greatest pleasures was watching the boats going by on the Pensaukee River. He had a love for boating and learned to love fishing from the pontoon boat on the bay. Duane took great pride in his lawn and it was always well kept. He loved the Green Bay Packers and was a season ticket holder since the new stadium was built in 1957. Duane was a diehard fan of the Packers and he wouldn't leave a game no matter what the score. He survived the Ice Bowl even tailgating with friends. Go Pack Go! Duane also cherished listening to the Brewer games on the radio while he relaxed in his garage when not able to watch on TV.

Duane was a Mason for 48 years. He was first a member of Tripoli Shrine of Milwaukee and then as a Charter Member of Beja Shrine. Duane was a truck driver for Schneider Transport for 58 years where he received many awards for achievement and safety. After a brief retirement, he spent 16 years working as a tour guide for Schneider National. His blood was Schneider Orange. Duane proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for 12 years. He was also a member of Vets and Patriots Shriners Organization. He loved his flag and it was always on display when he was at the cottage. Both at the cottage and at home, Duane always had time for bird watching.

Duane married the love of his life, Sharon, on May 27, 1985. They enjoyed traveling together to exotic places like Hawaii, the Cayman Islands, and many other exciting ports of call. His beloved little buddy Guinness was always at his feet and the joy of his day.

Duane is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon (Perret) Livermore; four children, Toni Burnett (James Dempsey), Jeffrey (Karen) Perrigoue, Melissa Perrigoue, Rebecca Perrigoue (Terry Barstow); a daughter-in-law, Ellen Freward and his grandchildren, Alexander, Tracie, London, Paris, Christopher, and Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grammie Sarah & Grampa Herb; a son, Randy Freward, and grandson, Gregory Burnett.

Reverend Diane Rew officiated a private service at Proko-Wall Funeral Home. Duane was buried at Brookside Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at Memorials may be donated to the in honor of Duane.
