I just came back to his YouTube channel after not having watched any of his videos in a while (over two years, apparently), and I come back to this heartbreaking news.

I have no words. This isn't the first time that I've known a YouTuber that I used to watch, then didn't for quite some time, then came back to find out that they had passed away.

His "Reaction & Review" videos were highly enjoyable for me, and they started educating me and getting me into various B-movies and underground films.

I'm deeply shocked and saddened to hear about Emer Prevost's passing. I hope his family and friends have been doing well, and continue to do well.

Emer seemed like a genuinely good guy, and it's sad to see that he's left this Earth. Rest In Peace. <3

He's in the longbox in the sky now... I first discovered Emer through "The Morshu Show" on YouTube, many, many years ago. Admittedly, I wasn't a super close follower, but I did enjoy his content whenever I watched it. He will for sure be missed.

2007 was the very first year I became a fan of Emer. Even with some tough times, I enjoyed a lot of his rants, game reviews, and even his Reaction and Review show (even sending a couple films for him to tackle). I am three months late writing about this, but even with that I still miss him.

Take care, dude. Take care.

Rest in peace Emer. :(

I never knew Emer personally. I only was a fan of his on Youtube. I discovered him through one of Big Al's archived videos. When I looked up his old youtube screen name, I started watching a lot of hia archived videos. Sometime afterwards, I found his new channel: Emer Prevost. I started watching a bunch of his reaction and review videos, and they were hilarious. That was back in 2012 or so. I've been a fan of his for about 5 years, and I just yesterda discovered of his death in August, and I was shocked to hear that he passed away. RIP Emer! You were a great videomaker!

I just found out about his passing, and just wished to give my condolences to his family. I was and still am particularly fond of his "Reaction & Review" Youtube series, finding his wit and often honesty opinions to be very entertaining, even if I didn't always agree with his views. I shall miss him terribly, and wish all the best to his loved ones.

So sorry to hear this! Been following Emer and his work for almost ten years and his kind personality always shined through even in harshest of times. He may have never realized this but he's one of the reasons why many of us internet nobodies found each other online. I wished he was granted more time to enjoy the friendships that were forged, thanks to and because of him. I won't forget you, mate!

Really going to miss you bud and our millions of random chats and debates over all our favorite epically bad films and games and just tons of stuff. I was so shocked to get the news at work the other night. I'm not really sure what else to say now man. Definitely going to miss you and Godspeed to permanent peace and the end of sadness and pain my brother. R.I.P. Emerson. Really gonna miss you dude. I hope someday my channel will be as helpful and enjoyable as yours was and I'll never be able to thank you enough for helping me get started with it to display the things we loved man. Whether it was his game reviews, his Epic Rants, or his Reaction & Review series, Emer has provided all of us with about a decade's worth of entertainment on a consistent basis. I was introduced to tons of great and "so bad it's good" movies that I had never even heard of before thanks to Reaction & Review.

I never knew him personally, but I always was a big fan of his videos and the news of his passing broke my heart. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Rest in peace Emer, you will never be forgotten.

"Take care and I'll see you all in the near future. Peace."

Rest in piece Emer! You were a really cool dude. You had some of the funniest content online back in 2008, even your more recent reviews were hilarious. You always poured your heart and soul into your art, and it really paid off. Your work has reached and has undoubtedly inspired thousands, if not millions of people, and there is no doubt in my mind that it'll inspire millions more. I'm glad to have gotten to meet you, and I hope you rest easy in Valhalla.

I was a longtime viewer of Emer's channel. I first started watching him around 2013/14, and I'm still in shock that he passed away. He was taken too soon. He was a real good guy, even having used my art as his icon for a time. I wish I got to know about him more, I really do. Godspeed, Emer. I'll always remember you as the good person you were.

Emerson, what can I say...

Thank you for being a part of my life. You were there for me when I needed friends the most, through my dark times.

You gave me fun times and laughter and I will always miss our chats and playing games with you. (often annoying you in the process).

My one regret for the rest of my life is not being here for you during the last 12 months. We did not talk as often as we used to because of my work life.

I will miss you big guy, I will never ever forget you.

I was very sad and very surprised to hear about Emer's passing, I was a huge fan of his YouTube channel, my thoughts and prayers are with his family in this terrible time,
Emer was one of those rare people who made a difference in many people's lives through his work on YouTube, especially as he genuinely cared about what he did rather than ratings or profit, I am certain that difference he made in the lives of those who knew him personally was immeasurable but even to his fans who only knew him in passing I am sure would agree,

Rest in peace Emerson, I offer my sincerest condolences to his family and friends in the wake of his passing.

I was a huge fan of Emer's YouTube channell. Emer always had a different style to most critics and did n't give in and give acclaim to a film because everyone else was doing it. I shared many of good streams with him , he was a gent. Condolences to his friends and family.

Emer was a longtime friend, and I'm still in shock at this horrific outcome. I hope his passing was painless and wish the very best for his family, and mutual friends who are grieving the same way I am. Emer was a wonderful guy, always cracking jokes and making other people smile and never taking life all too seriously; while always being willing to help his friends and listen. Emer, you were taken from us too soon, but as you say in the outro of the video series you put so much hard work into, I hope to see you in the future. Peace, and we love you.

Emer was a long-time friend since we first met exchanging videos on YouTube. He was kind, sweet, and always trying to make you laugh. His sense of humor was the greatest thing about him, as well as how open-minded he was and ready to discuss anything. He was taken from us far too soon. I'll miss you, especially every time I play the games we played together, man.
