Germaine "Gerry" Fetterly

Lena - Germaine "Gerry" P. Fetterly, 80, of Lena, died peacefully Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Oconto Falls after a long battle with ALS. She was born to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Huss) Tyrrell February 28, 1938 in Lena. She married Alvin Fetterly October 25, 1958 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Shawano. Germaine enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and many other children through their upbringing. She also enjoyed gardening, making the Booyah for the church picnics and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan. Germaine was a lifelong member of St. Anne Catholic Parish, Lena.

Surviving are two daughters, Laurie (Mike) McCabe, DePere; Lisa (Roger) Whitcomb, Lena; five grandchildren, Alicia (Brandon) Prochnow, Brett (Courtney) Yuma, Stacie (Stephen) Robb, Joe (Abby) Whitcomb, Beth (Andrew) Foley, four great grandchildren, Kaydence, Skylar, Riley and Chloe, one sister Barbara Tyrrell, Appleton; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Germaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alvin, three sisters, Doris Urbanek, Lois Schwartz, JoAnn Tyrrell, one brother Roger Tyrrell and one grandson Brian Whitcomb.

The family will greet relatives and friends Monday, December 10th at St. Anne Catholic Church, Lena from 9 AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11 AM with Father Nonito Barra officiating. Please visit RhodesCharapata.com to express online condolences.
