Jeanne Samson

Oshkosh - Jeanne M. Samson passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born to Mary Johnson in Green Bay on February 2, 1942. She was a mother, daughter, and sister. She loved sewing, teaching, reading, and writing. Her passion for quilting was known by many. Putting together pieces and making them into something whole.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Billie Jean Samson; sons, Anthony (Bonnie) Baker, Richard (Jacy) Baker, Daniel (Gretchen) Hoard; sisters, Jerilyn Keilholtz, Ruth (Jim) Briggs, Judy (Gary) Walters; grandchildren, Tabatha (Cole) Butterfield, Brett, Tyler, Andrew, Faith, Alexander and Kyzle Baker, Dylan Hoard; great grandchild, Elaina Butterfield. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends

Jeanne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oscar and Antoinette Johnson, who raised her near Cameron, WI; and three brothers, Robert, Allen, and Rick Crotteau

A private graveside memorial will be held at a future date.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jon Carlson, Aurora Hospital, Aurora at home hospice, and the many people that cared for her.
