Paul Haluska Obituary
Haluska, Paul S.

Paul Steven Haluska, born July 2nd, 1949 in Madison, WI to John and Ernestine Haluska, slipped away peacefully in his sleep at his childhood home in Argonne, WI. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, but is survived by his sister Donna, three children Heather, Steven and Kent, their families, the grandchildren he enjoyed so much, many beloved cousins, two treasured uncles, a cherished aunt, the in-laws he never stopped loving, as well as a multitude of friends that were family.

Although often misunderstood, it was always clear Paul loved many things and was loved by many. His younger days were spent in Argonne, going from band geek to rocker to "rebel without a clause". It was having a family that settled him down in Green Bay for over 30 years, where he found joy in his work, and his co-workers, as a main frame computer programmer. "Semi-retirement" allowed him to go back to the place his heart never left, Argonne. The last six years were some of his most honest and eventually, happiest. He took the opportunity to reconnect with those he had known for years and loved since the beginning, and made a plethora of new connections, "touching" almost everyone he crossed paths with before his end. If you met Paul you likely have a story about him, if not many…

Speaking of which, the family would like invite all to share those stories Friday December 14th, 2012 from 2p-4p at Weber-Hill Funeral Home in Crandon and join them with Pastor Farr of Praise Chapel at 4p at the Funeral Home for a few words to send Paul on his way. At 5p the celebration of "All that is Paul" will continue at Argonne Town Hall for a meal, compliments of the "Lovely Ladies of Argonne". Weber-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family. The family would like to thank all for the love and support given to Paul over the years.
