Oconto - Paul Milton Krueger Jr., 91, Oconto, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Sun Valley 9 Acres, Oconto. Paul was born May 29, 1927 in Lt. Suamico to the late Paul and Edith (Meincke) Krueger Sr. Paul married Shirley Semrau on May 6, 1957. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2009. Paul served his country in US Navy, spending time in Okinawa, Japan and South Korea. He worked as a Steer Master on the Great Lakes and then was a self employed salesman, selling fish and seafood in a multi state region. Paul was known as "the Mouse Man" playing pool ever since he could see over the table, and became a pool shark. He was also a championship golfer, holding titles in Oconto and Oconto Falls. Paul loved hunting and in 1977 he had the #7 buck in the Boon & Crocket record books. Paul was a member of First American Lutheran Church, Oconto, AMVETS and the VFW.

Paul is survived by a daughter, Julie Krueger, Lt. Suamico; five sons, Gary Lesperance, Oconto; Bruce Krueger, OR; Jeff Krueger, Oconto; Robert Krueger, William Krueger; two sisters, Janet (Lee) Brunette, Geraldine Knee; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Paulie Krueger and four sisters, Ada, Dorothy, Clarice and Marian.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Friday, July 13, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Fred Mai officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery with Military Rites by all Oconto Veteran Organizations.
