Rosemarie "Snooky" (Nuss) (Ault) Hansen


Rosemarie "Snooky" (Nuss) (Ault) Hansen, 87, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She was born on September 15, 1933 to the late Kenneth and Lucille (Manders) Nuss.

She resided in Green Bay for many years, before moving to Lakewood Ranch, FL in 1999. She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1951 where she enjoyed cheering on the

Wildcats. She attended many of their reunions.

Rosemarie worked at Standard Oil Co., Green Bay Press-Gazette, and retired as a private secretary for Koch Fuels Co. She was a member of Shorewood Country Club and Royal Scot Country Club, where she played in many golf league events. She was a huge and loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers.

She moved back to her hometown of Green Bay in 2015 and resided at Brookview Meadows.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Nuss Mocco; brothers, Kenneth (Patti) Nuss and Robert (Jan) Nuss; stepchildren, Kristine Hansen and Sean Hansen of Sarasota, FL; brother-in-law, Richard (Lois) Hansen; many nieces, nephews, good friends in Green Bay.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles Ault and James Hansen.

Visitation will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 14; followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. All in attendance will be required to wear masks. I remember Snooky from when I worked at the Press Gazette. She taught me how to run the switchboard. She worked at the main switchboard on the first floor and I worked on the one upstairs. She was a kind lady with a great sense of humor.
