Bonnie Lou Drzewiecki, 57, Pulaski, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014, following a sudden illness. The daughter of Daniel Przybylski and Helen (Jaworski) Bolssen was born September 14, 1956. Bonnie was a 1974 graduate of Pulaski High School. On February 8, 1975, she was united in marriage with Mike Drzewiecki at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski.

Bonnie had an extremely generous spirit, and her greatest passion in life was to help others. She spent countless hours helping those in need and organizing benefits for people, including her own granddaughter. Bonnie was instrumental in providing aid to displaced residents and businesses impacted by the 2011 fire in Pulaski. When tornadoes devastated the residents of Joplin, Missouri, Bonnie helped raise two semi-truck loads of supplies. She was recognized at the state level for her devoted service as a 4-H leader. She enjoyed helping with Polka Days. Most recently, Bonnie helped facilitate honor flights for veterans.

She was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish and Council of Catholic Women. Bonnie enjoyed canning, cooking, and gardening. She was very skilled with cake decorating, and many other crafts.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Mike; children: Dr. Crystal (Rob Scheuermann) Drzewiecki, Amy (Ben) Putthoff, and Brian (Angie Van Pay) Drzewiecki; grandchildren: Caleb, Helena, and Zoey Putthoff; two sisters: Darlene (Jim) Dalton and Diane Van Den Berg; one brother: Tom (Jenny) Przybylski; canine companions: Jasmine, Rahja, and Sam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant son: Joey; her parents: Daniel and Helen; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Wallace and Marcella Drzewiecki; and brother-in-law: Ed Van Den Berg.

Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Closing Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation continues after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., presiding, Fr. Bob Konkol, O.F.M., concelebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the physicians, nurses, and caring staff of Froedtert Hospital.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in Bonnie's name will be established with Old Glory Honor Flight, P.O. Box 482, Menasha, WI 54952.
