Kemp, SSgt Kerry M., USMC

Of Port Washington, WI passed away in a helicopter accident on March 10, 2015 at the age of 27. Kerry was born August 8, 1987 in Memphis, TN to Dwight Eric Kemp and Kristina Goldsby Wild.

Kerry moved to Port Washington, WI in 2003 and graduated from Port Washington High School with the Class of 2005. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in July 2007.

SSgt Kemp was currently assigned to Marine Special Operations Team (MSOT) 8231, Marine Corps Forces Special Operation Command (MARSOC) at Camp Lejeune, NC.

He is survived by his wife Jenna (nee Fowler) and his daughter, Makenzie. Kerry will always be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and an exceptional United States Marine Raider.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27th from 3-7 PM at the Port Washington High School, 427 W. Jackson St. in Port Washington., with funeral services at 7 PM. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Washington.

To my friend i have not seen in such a long time. Seems like just yesterday we were walking down the high school hallways. You are truly not dead because your life lives on in the memories and hearts of us. We will one day meet again my friend. Jenna you are in all our prayers. Your friend forever
