Catherine Faye Spink Cox passed away October 18th at UNC Rockingham Hospital.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 23 at 2 p.m. at Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC. The family will meet for a visitation at Fair Funeral Home from 1 to 1:45 before proceeding to the cemetery.

Catherine was born on November 22, 1929 in Rockingham County to the late Harry Spink and Flora Jones Spink. She was a member of Spray Baptist Church. Catherine loved to travel on Christian bus tours.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Toni Cox Fain, granddaughter Christina Fain Bowman and husband Richard Bowman, Jr., step-granddaughter Bridget Snody and husband Frankie Snody, her beloved cat Oliver, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Cox, her grandson, Glenn Fain, sisters, Geneva Reynolds, Margaret Murphy, Ethel Hill, Bonnie McNeely, and Elizabeth Bryant, and her brother Robert Simpson.
