Allen Gann
Easley
Allen Gann, age 66, of Easley, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at Easley Baptist Hospital after a brave battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was the beloved husband of Robin Gann, his wife of 27 years. Allen was born in Atlanta. At a young age he moved to Clearwater, Florida where he grew up. In the late 1960's Allen served in the Army overseas.
From a young age Allen loved electronics. In his spare time he loved collecting and fixing old tube radios and was a HAM radio operator (KB4AG). Allen also enjoyed country ham and Robin's home cookin'. In 2005, Allen moved to South Carolina to be closer to the mountains. He loved The Lord and was a member of Powdersville Community Church. He worked for Cryovac (Sealed Air) in the IT Dept in Duncan and Seneca.
Allen leaves behind his wife Robin and his children Angela Gann, Ronni Jo Howell (Tom), Rachael Berthold, Steven Gann and a brother. He will be missed by those who knew him and we are privileged to have had him in our lives. Condolences can be sent to Allen's family at 804 South B Street, Easley, SC 29640.

For you Robin,
We met once. At the fly in. Remember? I will never forget you. You gave me a blanket. I am sure you kept my friend Allen warm for many years. You are a wonderful woman, the best, for a wonderful man. I am deeply sorry for your loss but I am sure that Allen doesn't want my tears. He would want me to smile knowing that he has gone to heaven to wait for all those he loved.
I miss him already,
Jeff Reynolds

Allen Gann the man. I liked you from the moment we met. You were loved by everyone around you. I spoke with Tracy and Adam - they both were surprised as I was. You are missed by your old friends at Cryovac. I wanted to tell you, I got my pilot license.
Love you man!!!
