Ann T. Scott
Taylors
Ann Morrow Taylor Scott died October 12, 2012 at her residence.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late William Dewey and Velma Morrow Taylor, she was a graduate of Taylors High School Class of 1949 and attended Mars Hill Jr,.College. Ann was a former employee of St. Francis Hospital and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years Bobby L. Scott; three sons, Chris and his wife Karen, Stan, Mark and his wife Beth, all of Taylors; four grandchildren, Drew, Drake, Brooke, Taylor and wife Casey; brother in-law Ray Walker, niece Lynn and husband Wayne Pickelsimer, great-niece Jill and husband Kevin McCormick, great-great-niece Madalyn; nephew Keith and wife Felicia Walker and great-niece Emily. She is predeceased by a sister, Laura Dean Walker of Taylors.
Funeral services will be held at Taylors First Baptist Church with visitation in the Gathering Space on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 1:00-2:30 p.m. and funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary, conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley and Rev. Michael Sheehan. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Honorary escort will be Ladies Friendship Sunday School Class.
The family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylors Free Medical Clinic 400 W. Main Street, Taylors, SC 29687; Taylors First Baptist Church 200 W. Main Street, Taylors, SC 29687 or the Cancer Center of the Carolinas, 3 Butternut Drive, Suite B, Greenville, S.C. 29605.

Dear Bob and Family, We are thankful Mother and I were able to visit with Ann last week. Ann was a dear and special friend to Mother. Stephan, Matthew, and I will forever hold her dear in our hearts. She was a shining light to us all. There are not words to comfort you in this difficult time, but know we love you and our thoughts and prayers are with you. We send you our deepest condolences.
