Ms. Avie Headen of 517 Country Guard Drive passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Hillcrest Hospital.
Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Everlina Myers Outen.
Survivors: daughters, Tami R. Davis and Nicole R. Drakeford, both of Virginia; sister, Evelyn D. Callis, Fountain Inn, SC; nephew, Frederick (Rhonda) Drayton, Baltimore; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Monday, 11:00 A.M., Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

To the family of ms headen, as she was so affectionally. Known as. I am sorry for your loss and will continue to pray for you and all the people she touched as she Passed through the life. She was kind and sweet and always encouraging. I know she Loved the lord and is resting in his care.

Avie was a great co-worker. We met when I began my training as a Correctional Officer at Perry Correctional Institution in Dec., 2003. The good working relationshiop endured through the past nine years. She will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss.
