Willard Goodnough
Mauldin
Ernest Willard Goodnough, 87, of Mauldin, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. He was the son of the late Hubert N. and Evilee Cox Goodnough.
He was a US Navy Veteran, retired from the Recreation Department with the City of Simpsonville, former owner of Goody's Café and a member of First Baptist Church of Simpsonville.
He is survived by sons Robert L. Goodnough, Gregory Nelson Goodnough, Mark Anthony Goodnough; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Melinda Massey and his brother James T. Goodnough.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Cannon Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to V.F.W. Post 1845, 121 Hedge St., Simpsonville, SC 29681.

My heart is broken, but my mind goes back to happier times, when we spent so much time at Chick Springs, and the drive-in theater..I know Linda was waiting on Willard with open arms. You will be missed.

Sorry to hear about papa Will. We know that he will be greatly missed, But he will be in the arms of Jesus. Tyler Loved papa Will too.
