Margie Elizabeth Forister Turner, 85, wife of C. E. "Bud" Turner, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 23, 2013.

Mrs. Turner was born in Easley, a daughter of the late Robert Dewey and Emma Pace Forister. She was a homemaker and a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the We Care Sunday School Class, and Tuesday morning Bible study. Margie always enjoyed calling her school classmates, friends, and church family on their birthdays and anniversaries.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Bud, of the home, her son, Dennis Turner (Abbey) of Travelers Rest, grandson, David Turner (Stacey) of Easley, and great grandchildren, Cason, Holden, and Ella Grace Turner. She is also survived by a sister, Lucile Henderson of Greenville.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Friday, April 26, 2013 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Spencer and Reverend Rodney Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home.
