Rosa, "Rose" Lee Jones Pinson, 92, wife of the late Frank "Pop" Maynard Pinson, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2013.

Mrs. Pinson was born June 16, 1920, in Fountain Inn, SC, to the late Rev. Theron Earl Jones and Mamie Putman Jones. She retired from Beaunet Textiles and Wilson Sporting Goods. She was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Fountain Inn. Rose loved her family, friends, sewing and baking.

Surviving, are two daughters, Gayle Gossett and husband Dewey, and Judy Chandler and companion Butch Bowen; two sisters, Virginia Coon and Pearl Barnes; two grandchildren, Terri Anders and Tony Gossett; three great-grandchildren, Brittney Taylor, Jalen Anders and Emily Wilkins; and one great great grandchild, Jasmyn Woodruff. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Clifton Jones, Clinton Jones, Rev. Theron Robert Jones (Bob), and Eddie Jones; three sisters, Florence Jones, Francis (Belle) Wood, and Etta Jacobson; and a granddaughter, Samantha Wilkins.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the National Health Care in Mauldin, 850 East Butler Rd, Greenville, SC, 29607. We would like to express our sincere thanks and love to the staff of National Health Care in Mauldin and Cariss Hospice for your care and compassion extended to mom during her stay with you.

The family is at the home of Dewey and Gayle Gossett, 308 Woodland Drive in Mauldin.
