Anne G. Lake


Anne Glenn Lake, 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at her home.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Stewart and Lucia Cochran Glenn. She was a retired Liberty Elementary school teacher, volunteered in Pickens County Schools, an avid Clemson fan, and an extremely active member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church.

Surviving is her husband of 42 years: Bob Lake; son: Robert M. Lake(Denise); daughter: Robin L. Smith(Trey); sisters: Marilyn Baker(Jim), Emily Attaway(John), Angie Stroud(Bill); brother: Stewart Glenn; grandchildren: Kristen Smith, Reid Smith; brother-in-law: Moose Lake(Shirley); sister-in-law: Dotsy Rogoza(Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., at St. Michaels Episcopal Church, and the family will receive friends after the service. Burial will be private.

The family will be at her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michaels Episcopal Church, 1200 Powdersville Rd., Easley, SC 29642.
