Ellen McDonald Eubanks

Ellen McDonald Eubanks, 94, wife of the late James L. Eubanks, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 23, 2014.

Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late, Merrial Thomas and Esther Meredith McDonald.

Ellen was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church at Mills Mill for over 62 years. She taught and was active in her Sunday School class, Mission Friends, GAs, and WMU. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose love of the Lord showed in all she did.

Surviving are son, Dennis Wayne Eubanks and wife, Mira of Greenville; sister, Eunice Baldwin of Columbia; grandson, Nick Eubanks.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family wants to thank the staff of McCall Hospice House for their support and loving care.
