Jeraldine "Jerri" N. Turner

Jeraldine "Jerri" N. Turner went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, May 19, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Jerri was born to the late John H. and Grace Nelson in Greenville, South Carolina on December, 26, 1926. She was preceded in death by husband Paul C. Turner, Jr. of 64 years; a sister, Anna Ruth; an infant daughter; and a granddaughter.

She was a devoted wife and mother, who spent her life loving and caring for her family.

She is survived by her youngest son and primary caregiver, Tim Turner, Paul "Rock" C. Turner, III and wife, Darleen, John Turner and wife, Helen, and Rev. Kyle Turner and wife, Darlene; Sherri Turner and partner, Ellie Gibson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Sheila Knoke and husband, Rollie of Woodruff; special niece, Peggie and her husband, Grady Milford, of Anderson, 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and her special four-legged companion, Penny.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Oak Crest Baptist Church, 1 Alabama Avenue, Greenville, SC 29611.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Interim Hospice for their love and care.
