Lynda R. Von Hofe


Mrs. Lynda Julian Roper Von Hofe of 3 Coachman Drive, passes away on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at home. Born Nov. 11, 1946 in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Lois Walker Roper and Ernest Julian Roper of Taylors.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Hardin Von Hofe of the home; her sons, Lee Robert Von Hofe and Mark Julian Von Hofe of Taylors; and a brother, Larry Charles Roper of Taylors.

Mrs. Von Hofe was retired from the City of Greenville Parks and Recreation Commission.

Services will be held 11 am Thursday, October 4, in Taylors First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9 - 10:45 am in the Church gathering space. Lynda was a lifetime member of the church. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Co-ed 17 Life Group will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
