Paul Ronald Caton Sr., 60, of 1808 River Road, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at his residence.
Born in Monroe, New Jersey, he was a son of Doris Caton Kimble of Port Jervis, N.Y. Mr. Caton worked as foreman in Research and Development for Ellcon National, a manufacturer of freight train parts, in Greenville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Sandra Elizabeth Cole Caton, of the home; one son, Paul Ronald Caton Jr., of Piedmont; one daughter, Amanda Jean Fetherman, of Dingsman Ferry, Pa.; five brothers, Robert Kimble of New Jersey, David Kimble of New York, Jeff Kimble of Pennsylvania, Kevin Kimble of New York and Patrick John Kimble of Wisconsin; two sisters, JoAnn Kimble of North Carolina and Tammy De Merritt of Pennsylvania; one granddaughter, Alexis Rebecca Anne Caton, of Piedmont; and his best friend, Robert Shepherd.
Funeral services will be Sunday, at 4 p.m., in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Cal Vick.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home in Easley, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service.
