R.E. "Bob" Murray

R.E. "Bob" Murray, 79, husband of Jan Littleton Murray, died June 15, 2014.
Born in Premier, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Jesse Leo and Ina Lou Williams Murray.
In addition to his wife of 59 years, surviving are, daughters, Amanda Murray Keener and Missy Murray Owens (Lance); son, Bunky Murray; grandchildren, Cara Sanfilippo, Murray Padgett (Carrie), Zach Murray, Emma Jayne Murray-Shanks, Hannah Owens, Nat Murray, and Grace Owens; sister, Mary Ann Tobin; and brother, Jesse Leo Murray, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Alma Lee Barnett; and brother, Sherman Murray.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Berea Friendship Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Furman University Men's Golf Team, Attention: Todd Satterfield, 3300 Poinsette Hwy, Greenville, SC 29613.
