Sanna, Romeo
Romeo V. Sanna, 86, of Cos Cob, passed away on November 13, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Greenwich on June 11, 1926 to the late John A. Sanna, Sr. and Julia Vidone Sanna. He was a graduate of Greenwich High School and proudly served his country during WWII with the US Navy. Romeo worked for the Greenwich Post Office for 30 years. He was a member of the Redmen's Association and the American Legion and he marched in all the parades. Romeo is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Catherine "Lee" Sanna, his son Stephen Sanna, daughters Susan Migliazza and husband John Jr., and Carol Zerbo and husband Joseph, and his grandchildren Catherine Migliazza and John Migliazza III. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother John A. Sanna Jr., and a sister Julia Gatto. Family and friends may visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, Inc., 134 Hamilton Ave. in Greenwich on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:00AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside. Entombment will follow with Military Honors at St. Mary Cemetery in Greenwich. The family wishes to thank Dr. Walsh, Dr. Brunetti, Dr. Dadasovich, their staff and a special thank you to Erica Palmer his dedicated caregiver.

It was with great sadness that I heard of Romeo's Death. I enjoyed his friendly & warm greetings during our impromptu meetings.
