Larry, I hope you saw yesterday's Alabama Michigan game from that lofty perch you're sitting on. Was thinking of you.

Larry and I were in the Illinois National Guard in the 1960's. Larry worked in the municipal bond business with John Nuveen in Chicago. At that time, I remember Larry and his wife buying a house in Palatine, Ilinois. Larry was a friendly person with a nice sense of humor. RIP, Larry.

So sorry to hear this. A really nice guy, almost hired me at Dean Witter.
During my interview with him I mentioned my smartest client was his brother John who made me a lot of money getting me to buy a certain stock. He said ‘put 10% of your net worth into it and you’ll double your net worth’ I did and it did. Larry and I laughed about it.
He was one of the gentlemen of Wall Street

Larry and I worked together during his Advest days. I was one of his clients.
When 2008 hit, and I was laid off from my work, Larry sent me a Bible, and generously offered to keep in touch with me, and helped me whole heartedly in the Larry way I won't forget.
He even kept himself to a vegetarian-only meal at a steakhouse knowing that I am a veg!
It pains me to discover that he is no longer with us, but I have fond memories of Larry to keep forever.
Larry is a dear friend, mentor, and a kind soul. I will miss him dearly, and I wish the Littig family the very best.

Dear Littig family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Lawrence's death. I remember your family fondly from the First Congregational Church in Chappaqua.
May your happy memories of him be a comfort to you.
