On November 26, 1977, Ann married John P. Kachaluba, a professional firefighter in Greenwich (Local 1042), at Immaculate Conception Church, Astoria, NY, and then moved to Greenwich where she worked for 25 plus years at Greenwich Hospital. In addition to nursing, Ann's great passions were competitive ballroom dancing, traveling to exotic locales, reading, attending Broadway plays and spending time with her dear family and close-knit group of friends.

Kachaluba (Angie) of Barrington, NH, step-son and step daughter-in-law, John-Paul Kachaluba (Sarah) of Carlsbad, CA; her beloved grandchildren Xander Braden Kachaluba, Anna Marie Charlotte Kachaluba and August John Kachaluba; her sisters Elaine Weller and Aggie (Alan) Lathrop; loving nieces and nephews as well as her beloved friends, most especially Harriet Rasch of New York, NY, her best friend of over 50 years.
