NIKOLAS BONA PAVELIC, a former resident of Old Greenwich, died as the result of a motorcycle accident April 24 in San Francisco, less than 100 yards from the Pacific Ocean and his home in the Sunset section. The much beloved son of Mercy Bona and Radovan Pavelic, and the adored brother of Thana Alexa Pavelic, Niki was born in New York City, December 27, 1988. He went to Old Greenwich School and graduated from Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, Calif. He was a student at San Francisco State University. Niki was 21, in the full bloom of life, and will be missed by his family, many friends, and all whose lives he touched. His many friends in Old Greenwich will remember him as a high-spirited young man who enjoyed life each and every day. In addition to his parents and sister, Niki is survived by his grandmother, Angelique Salic; his uncle, Ivan Pavelic; uncle, Chris, aunt, Euginie and his cousins, Christopher and Chase Pavelic, all of Greenwich; his uncle, Milan Srskic and wife, Ellen, and their daughters, his cousins, Tammy, Anne, and Stephanie, and their children and spouses; his uncle, Branko, aunt Saba and cousin, Tatiana Krmpotic, living in the U.S. and by his many other uncles, aunts, cousins and family living in Croatia and Serbia.
