News Death Notice
GARLAND, Geraldine age 79, of Camden, passed away at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 04:47AM. She was born in Whitesburg, KY on April 22, 1934 to Charlie and Mattie (Halcomb) Tyree. Geraldine was employed at Maple Knolls and retired in 1987. She was a member of the Northside Chapel First Church of God for many years. She is survived by her children, Marsha (Rex) Richmond, Charles (Beverly) Hall, Anthony (Maggie) Harris, James (Sandy) Hall, and Deborah (Danny) Larry; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and two brothers Tom and Rufus Tyree. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, brothers Charles, Clyde, and Willard Tyree, sisters Gladys Collins, Lela Caudill, Frances Alcorn, and Mattie Kinser; and one grandson Robert Wayne Hall. Funeral service will be held at Brown - Dawson - Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 12 Noon with David Oakley of Northside Chapel First Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 10-12 PM at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.

Gerry was a beautiful Christian lady who loved everyone. Her spirit was always sweet and loving. Her love for her family was expressed every moment. she will be missed. She had many physical problems but always trusted in her Savior! Praise the Lord for her.
