News Death Notice
DUNCIL, Chelcie Age 84, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her home. She was born December 29, 1928 in Breathitt Count, KY to Isaac and Fannie (McIntosh) Mayes. She was an Air Craft Mechanic for Aeronca for 38 years, retiring in 1990. Chelcie was a member of Old Regular Baptist Church in Wolf County, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clarence and Lawrence; sisters, Ethel and Rosalee. Chelcie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dan Duncil; children, Tim (Susan) Short of Trenton, Leonard Duncil, David (Tonya) Duncil, Sandy (David) Rush all of Middletown; grandchildren, Curt and Michael Short, Katelyn and Kassidy Duncil, Brittany and Lyndsey Duncil, Justin Rush; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
