News Death Notice

GEORGE, Rose Etta age 80, of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 6:33PM. She was born in London, KY on November 2, 1932 to Gilbert and Pearl (Bowling) Wyatt. On June 30, 1952 in Indiana, she married Ernest Ray George, and he preceded her in death in 1975. In 1978 she met Robert Floyd, and they spent 25 loving years together before he preceded her in death in 2002. She is survived by three children; David (Karen) George of Oxford, Deborah T. Azbill, of Oxford, Denise (Tim) Holcer of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Toby (Jennifer Combs) Azbill, Christy (Mat) Ballinger, Kevin (Dawn Adams) George, Telene (David Brown) Brookbank, Aaron (Kayla) George, David (Heather Parker) George Jr., James Azbill; ten great - grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter, Katelyn, Brandon, Peyton, Jessie, Joshua, Madison, Aleah, Waylon; four siblings, Ronald Wyatt, Gilbert (Marie) Wyatt Jr., William (Eileen) Wyatt, Brenda (Robert) Reed; and a special brother in law, Robert (Geneve) Marcum. She was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings, Charles, Maggie, Dorothy, Cora, Bev, Delbert, Gail, and Zella. Funeral service will be held at Brown -Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11AM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5-8PM at funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
