News Death Notice

BREWER, Amy S. Jackson age 42, of Trenton, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Atrium Medical Center where she had been a patient for six days. She was born May 12, 1971 in Middletown, Ohio and graduated from Edgewood High School Class of '90. She was employed as the assistant manager for Lee's Famous Recipe Restaurant for three years. She was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle in Germantown for 20 years, and was a skilled artist on the scenery and back drops for their church productions. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Helen Velde; paternal grandmother, Matilda "Tillie" Allmon; two maternal uncles, Ronald and Thomas Velde; and her father-in-law, Harold Brewer. She is survived by two children, Brittany S. Brewer and fiancé Steven Carter and Brandon K. Brewer and girl friend, Kristin Bingle; her parents, James R. and Janet Sue (Velde) Murphy; one sister, Tina Jackson; step brother, Shawn Murphy, wife Crystal; mother-in-law, Carol A. Brewer; former husband, Jeffrey H. Brewer and fiancée Lorrie Pippin; her boyfriend, Paul Anders, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; lots of friends, and her church family. Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Abundant Life Tabernacle, 9440 Eby Road, Germantown, Ohio 45327, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Setser officiating.
