Some people cross our paths in life who leave an impact. Miss. Edna was one of those people in my life. Her passion for children, animals was amazing. She taught me so much. She had her "little quotes" she would say and adults and kids who were blessed to be in her life will never forget them my favorite I still use today is "You get what you get and don't throw a fit". You will be missed by me and our family at Wonderful World of Kids.

Paul,
It is clear that your mother was a wonderful lady just from knowing you. She raised a great son that would do anything for others and that shows the type of character she had. I pray that God be with you during this time and lift you up.

Ms. Edna was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I was blessed to have the privilege to know her. And it was a honor to work with her. She was an amazing person and impacted everyone who knew and loved her. She was an awesome teacher and the love she showed for the kids was amazing. She taught my daughter a lot in the time that she had her as a teacher and for that I am thankful. WWOK was lucky to have her as a teacher. She will be missed by all who knew her and will forever be in our hearts. R.I.P. Ms. Edna

Where to begin to start this. She was truly a great woman. And I was honored to have the privilege to work with her. WWOK will never be the same without her. The wealth of knowledge she had when it came to teaching children was amazing. She will forever be in my heart and in those that worked with her or came in contact with her. She was truly a one of a kind person. And my deepest sympathy goes to the family.

Paul,

We didn't know your mother but after reading the other condolences, can see that she passed her love of children and patience on to you. What a blessing to have received this and much more from her. She sounds like a wonderful woman. Our prayer for you and your family is Psalm 20: "May the Lord answer you in your distress; may the name of God protect you. May He send you help from His sanctuary and grant you support."

Miss Edna took great care of my both son Dominic and grandchildren, Lyric and DeJuan. I once asked her how she stayed so patient and was able to calm down even the most unruly of children. She answered "If you want to lose an argument have it with a three year old." She will be truly missed.

Paul,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was always so sweet to me when we were growing up. She taught me how to play crazy 8's during all our hours spent at Wilson Pool, and she taught me how to deal out and play solitaire and keep the rows nice and straight. I spent many hours laying out in the sun with her in your back yard. She had such patience, kindness and grace and will truly be missed by all who were blessed enough to have known her.
