News Death Notice

SAWYER, Elizabeth "Rae" age 79 of Waynesville, OH, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012. She was born January 23, 1933 to the late Thomas and Samantha Haddix. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Ridinger (1991) with whom she had 7 children, and William Sawyer; 2 brothers, Chester and June Haddix; and 4 sisters, Carmey, Hazel, Susie, and Alta. She is survived by her seven children Wayne (Sandy) of Waynesville, Sharon of Wilmington, Darrell (Kelly) of Waynesville, Vicki (Don) of Waynesville, Connie (Steve) of Centerville, Sherry (Berry) of Waynesville and Randy (Holly) of Monroe; 7 grandchildren Danny Jo, Kelly, Jimmy, Heather, April, Tasha and Cody; 10 great grandchildren Richie, Riley, Quentin, Austin, Stefhon, Jordan, Hunter, Tyler, Dakota and Kylie; 2 sisters Dorsey of Texas and Evelyn of Michigan; best friend Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 2 PM Wed. March 28 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family received friends 11 AM - 2 PM Wed. at the funeral home.
