News Death Notice

CALLSEN, Helen 76 formerly of Carlisle passed away Thursday November 13, 2008 at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown. Helen was born January 11, 1932 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Walter and Mary Slonina. She was a Registered Nurse and formerly worked at Middletown Hospital. She is survived by her 7 children, Nancy Sauers, Mary , David, Gary, Christopher, Thomas and Brian Callsen. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 11:00 am at St Marys Catholic Church, Franklin with the Rev. Jim Manning officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am at the church.

Nancy,I only found out about your mom today(11/18/08).so sorry to hear about her passing.Will sure miss her and all the good laughs we had on the way to her meetings. It was a real blessing to have known her.She was one of a kind.Take care & tell "george" we"ll miss her little head patting.Sandi Winkle(emt transportation)

Callsen clan,

Helen and Don were apart for only a few years but they're back together now. I'm sure that they're proud of all of you; they brought up some fine youngsters.

Helen will be missed.
