News Death Notice
RISNER, Michael of Trenton, OH passed away on December 31, 2010. Michael leaves behind his wife of 38 years Vickie (Paynter) Risner; Daughters Christie (Daryl) Gross, Shelly Kerr (Eric Gomia), and Melissa (Jeremy) Boggs; Grandchildren Lauren and Josh Shelton, Nate and Ty Kerr, Isaac Gompf, and Kendall Boggs, his parents Burnice and Imogene Risner, brothers Larry, Daryl (Bonnie), Danny (Lisa) Risner, and a sister Marsha Monk (James). He is preceded in death by an infant son Brian Michael Risner. Michael was an employee of AK Steel for 33 years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Jason Kepner Family. The visitation service will be held on Monday January 3, 2011 at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday January 4, 2011 at the Church of God in Jesus at 5604 W Alexandria Road, Middletown, OH 45042 at 10:00AM with burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made in Michael's name to the Humane Society. www.ivey-rosehill.com

Vickie, I'm very saddened for the loss of Mike. I know it's been awhile since I've been around but I remember how close you two were along with how awesome your family is! You are a strong caring woman that makes a differance in alot of lives and for that Mike is smiling down on us all now, just know that there is no more suffering no more pain, May God bless you and your family.
