News Death Notice
CREECH, Ralph E. Age 86, of Monroe, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday evening, March 21, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. Ralph was surrounded during the day by his loving family and friends. He was born on January 4, 1929 in Middletown, Ohio; he graduated from Waynesville High School. Ralph served in the United States Air Force and he retired from A K Steel on March 31, 1990. Ralph was a member of Middletown Moose #501, American Legion Post 218 and VFW Post #3809. Ralph leaves behind his daughter, whom he resided with, Marcia (Mike) Crutchfield of Monroe and son Gary Creech of Lebanon; brother Gerald (Patsy) Creech of Lebanon; sisters, Faye (Doug) Henderson of Waynesville and Fern Morgan of Springboro; grandchildren, Stefanie (Brad) Bryant of Franklin, Michelle (Dennis) New of Lebanon, Nick (Lara) Crutchfield of Franklin and Jeffrey Creech of Lebanon; great-grandchildren, Madison and Garrett Bryant, Maya and Nicolas Crutchfield and Holden Creech; brother-in-laws, Richard Steward of Seymour, IN and George Birch of Middletown; former spouse and friend, Joan Creech of Lebanon and many nieces and nephews; special friends, Al Stevens and Dimitri and Maria Ververis. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Sycamore Hospital, Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village and Hospice of Middletown; Dr. Mary Ellen Broadstone-Gaeke and Dr. Dyrk VanValkenburg for the love and compassion they gave Ralph and his family during his brief illness. The family will receive friends at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 pm and Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Lamar Ferrell officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
