BAKER, Vernon age 87 of Camden, Ohio passed away Monday, Mar. 22, 2010 in Eaton, OH. He was born July 15, 1922 in Owsley County, KY. to Herman and Catherine (Rowland) Baker, the youngest of 8 brothers. He married Dorothy Taylor on April 29, 1944. Vernon greatly enjoyed fishing and gardening. He took great pride in his work and enjoyed his co-workers. Vernon is survived by his wife, Dorothy Baker, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy Ann and Ron Merriman, Sarasota, FL., Phyllis and Tucker Lovely, Camden, OH., 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and a great grandchild, Taylor Brooke. Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. on Wed. Mar. 24, 2010 at Beechwood Church of God on St. Rte 122 with Pastor Gary Agee officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:30 P.M. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH. is in charge of arrangements.
