My prayers go out to the family of Vernon Baker, He stood tall and was a proud man he was loved by everyone that met him. Uncle Vernon I will still see the little grin on your face when I look up in the sky. There is a part of my heart missing you now but I know you are at peace.

Though I have not seen Vernon in years, I always had great respect for him and enjoyed his friendship. We were related through our Bowman-Baker- Stephens Owsley County blood. May God help you through this time of sadness.
