Love you forever

Donna Newton

December 27, 2008

Gerald had the most pure heart of any person I had ever met. He was good, kind, thoughtful, caring and most of all he loved his family. He prayed for us every day. He prayed that we would be happy, healthy, safe and secure. He prayed for Isreal, he prayed for a miracle in each of our lives. I know this to be a fact because I said his prayers with him every day. Some days, he prayed without ceasing. My heart is broken, my life so lonely at the loss of my brother...but I know in heaven he is safe, happy, whole, blessed and pleading my case. Go rest high on that mountain brother, your work on earth is done, go to heaven a shoutin, love for the father, and the son....Love you forever....and I know without a doubt, that you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need.
Love always....Donna.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
