BOWLING, Henry L. age 64 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, December 24, 2012. He was born in Hamilton on June 10, 1948 the son of the late Tilford and Sallye Bowling. Henry was raised in the Armendale area of Hamilton. He was employed by the City of Hamilton from 1967 till retirement in 1999. He then returned to run Community Service for 11 years. Henry also portrayed Santa Clause for Many years. Henry was a member of Benjamin Franklin Lodge # 717 F&AM, AFL-CIO, United Way and St. Rafel. He was a member and past president of ACSFME Local 475. Henry was a proud member of the Lairs Club. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping. He is survived by his wife, Lynda C. (Holt) Bowling; his son, Joshua (Jamie) Bowling of Hamilton; his daughter, Melissa Bowling of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Sierra, Brayden, Tommy, and Kaylyn; siblings, Carrie (the late Robert) Caplinger of Eaton; Barbara (Wendell) Hodges of Vero Beach, Florida, Sandy (Roger) Bufler of Andrews, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Freda Schlichter. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Tilford M. Bowling; and a special brother Dale Hundley. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave., on Friday, Dec. 28th from 4:00 Pm till time of Masonic service at 7:00 PM Funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Ron Stewart of High Street Baptist Church officiating. Following cremation, ashes will be buried in Darrtown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rafel or to American Henry's family extends a heartfelt thank you to all of his care givers over the years, and especially to Dr. William Krall.
