Helen Sutton

HELEN SUTTON, 93, of Rocky Hill, CT and Davenport, FL, passed away on May 1, 2020 due to complications of COVID-19. She was the devoted wife of the late Gaylord S. Sutton and the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Gresh) Goembeski of Collinsville, CT. Helen was a member of Saint James Church of Saint Josephine Bakhita Parish. She enjoyed winters in Florida and traveling with the Aircraft Campmates. Helen is survived by her four sons, John and Mary-Ellen Sutton of Middletown, Richard and Patricia Sutton of Rocky Hill, Robert Sutton and Kim Deren of Deep River, Paul Sutton and Carmen Bosques of Colchester; seven grandchildren: Nathaniel and Kristin Sutton of Millis, MA, Jeffrey and Jessica Sutton of Glastonbury, James and Eva Sutton of Rocky Hill, Adam Sutton of Rocky Hill, Bryan and Elise Sutton of Richmond, CA, Autumn Sutton of Colchester and Shane Sutton of Colchester; and seven great-grandchildren: Brady, Emily, Declan, Korey, Jack, Audrina and Sequoia. Helen also leaves several cousins, nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her sisters Irene Twining and Joan Bosse. Thank You to the caring professionals at Atria Greenridge Place in Rocky Hill for the many years of care extended to Helen, and Saint Francis Hospital for their care and support. Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the graveside service and burial will be private. Rose Hill Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
