As Editor of The Dial Yearbook of which Sandy was Faculty Advisor I learned a great deal from him that served me well in my career. In later years when he served as Faculty Representative to the Student Center Board of Governors he was a valuable colleague. He is fondly remembered.

Sandy was the head of the graphics department (IT) when I wandered into his office during my junior year. I was a Sociology major who wanted to get back into drafting and printing courses. Thankfully he only shook his head at my request to switch my major into his department. I'd like to think he'd be pleased I'm still working as a graphic designer after all these years. RIP Sandy, and thank you.

I was saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. Sandy was a beloved friend and professional colleague who was admired and respected by his colleagues and his students. Sandy was my Master's thesis advisor and was very instrumental in me pursuing my professional career at CCSU. Whenever you asked him for his help, Sandy always willingly provided it! He will be greatly missed and may God bless him. He will be remembered in our prayers

Dear Anna and family, Peter and I are so very sorry for your loss. We had enjoyed our times with you and Sandy very much here in Naples. We will miss his very unique funny dry sense of humor especially whe we would dine out with you both. Our thoughts and blessings are with you today. Our Love Diane and Pete

I'm saddened to hear that "Mr. Rich" passed away. I studied Graphic Arts at CCSC with him. I later served as his grad assistant from 1976-77. He set me on my career path as a Graphic Arts teacher for 35 years. I remember our friendly 'discussions' about Hasselblad vs. Leica! I'd get that 'Mr. Rich look' as I mused about the Leica. He touched countless lives throughout his career at CCSC/U. He was a good guy.
