Along with his wife, Mary, James is survived by his three children, Marie R. O'Brien and her husband, Ed, of South Windsor, Rob Wilson and his fiancée, Carlene Fox, of Manchester, Amy E. Wilson of East Hartford; seven special grandchildren, Eric O'Brien and his wife, Amie, of Tolland, Steven Crispim of Andover, Alison O'Brien of Gallup, NM, Jennifer Wilson of Andover, Ashley O'Brien and Jonathan O'Brien both of South Windsor, Joshua Wilson of Andover; and one adored great-granddaughter, Kayla O'Brien of Tolland. He also leaves two brothers, Charles Wilson and his wife, Norma, of Hemet, CA, Ed Wilson and his wife, Ellen, of Glastonbury; two aunts, Arline Aniello of Old Lyme, JoAnn Prutz of East Hartford; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Besides his parents James was predeceased by three brothers, George "Skip" Wilson of Windsor Locks, Patrick E. Wilson of Colchester, William A. Wilson of Marlborough; a special uncle/brother, Donald Prutz of East Hartford; and a sister, Patricia Wilson of Hartford.

I'm sorry for your loss. I only knew James as a child when my parents went to visit George and Beatrice his parents. My father ,John I. Wilson was George's brother. I only saw my cousins as adults when Patrick's son,Danny, died. I happened to be in Connecticut visiting. I have lived in California since 1960.
