Brad Ragaglia Obituary

Brad Michael Ragaglia, 61, of Plainville, passed away Monday, (January 11, 2021) at home, to the great sadness of his family and friends. Brad was born in Meriden and was a loving son to Dominic and Marie Ragaglia. He grew up in Plainville, where he had an active and social childhood. He went on to study Communications at the University of Hartford, and worked as a senior editor for a business magazine. He contributed to many newspapers, and owned a freelance editing and writing business titled "Collaborative Prose." Above all, Brad was a man of faith and loved his family. He was a devout Catholic and dedicated his time to local churches. He was a lover of music; enjoying singing, songwriting, and playing guitar. He is survived by his two sons, Daniel and Andrew Ragaglia, and his two daughters and sons-in-law, Emily Ragaglia and Daniel Jones and Mary and Shay Amin; his grandson, Sai Amin; his parents, Dominic and Marie Ragaglia; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott Ragaglia and Sandy Davis and Craig and Barbara Ragaglia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his beloved pug, Jake. A Mass of Christian Burial for the family will be held at Our Lady of Mercy. A private burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Plainville. I just learned of Brad's passing and I am totally speechless, shocked and sadden. I am thinking of Mr and Mrs Ragaglia and Scott and Craig in my prayers. I am so so sorry.
